The main feature of this island is the Makatea or limestone rock. The property can organise the following tours: cave tours, sightseeing tours to see the island, hiking and fishing trips. MP0508 Ara Moana is a small, 8 bungalow family run property set on the cliffs of the raised Makatea (upraised coral limestone) looking out to the east of the island. Ara Moana Bungalows is located on Mangaia Island, the southernmost of Cook Islands, a semi-independent country in the centre of the Pacific Ocean. One enters Cook Islands through the main island of Rarotonga and from there Air Rarotonga flies to Mangaia.
